This museum is an under-appreciated delight. I do believe there's an entrance fee but it was well worth it.

This is the only museum in the country dedicated solely to women artists. Frida Kahlo, Georgia O'Keefe, Dorothea Rockburne, Eva Watson-Schutze. $10 entry but Free admission 1st Sunday of month.

A smaller, off the beaten path museum that showcases the role of women in the arts. A sentimental favorite for us -- we got married here in 2013! (Note that this is NOT part of the Smithsonian so entrance is not free)
