Super day out for the family or for keen walkers! Cafe on site with seating area. Play areas for kids with plenty of space.
With 600 acres of gardens, woodland and countryside – perfect for wildlife spotting. Highlights include a Neo-classical chapel, restored stable block and grand ruin. There are plenty of picnic spots or a great cafe for food. Kids will love the Strawberry Castle play area.
It's a chance to walk through the Georgian Estate to the 'Column to Liberty' which can be seen from Lockhaugh Farm. And while it doesn't have the great buildings and gardens of many National Trust estates it has fantastic walks and offers an event programme for all the family as well as a little cafe with great scones and cakes.
