Why locals recommend it

Rickshaw Stop is a good size, with good space, and plenty of room to move around without losing the intimate feel. I’ve been going to this venue since it opened in 2004, and I have a lot of really great show memories here including seeing M.I.A., Vampire Weekend, Professor Murder, and PWR BTTM, not to mention the many shows that I’ve booked here myself. If it’s not sold out, POPSCENE on Friday nights would be the go-to for a newcomer. Live 105 DJ and local music supporter Aaron Axelsen has been bringing new talent through for years now, and he always brings the party.

It's a storefront-size music venue with great acoustics. The setting is intimate, ticket prices are low, and they have an eclectic selection of live bands, DJs, and popular events.
