The Music City Star is a great way to go downtown without paying to park.

Be advised that the last train from Nashville back to Hermitage is at 5:45pm every day except Fridays. On Fridays, they have one later train at 10:30pm.

This is a train that will take you downtown and back. Closest station to us in in Hermitage. It is a good low cost option if you can stick to their schedule. They are set up as a commuter train so they don't run Sat or Sun.
