Mexican police and military forces crushed a peaceful student movement with the October 2, 1968 massacre of demonstrators in Mexico City’s Tlatelolco district. For 25 years the city’s graphic design collective Escuela de Cultura Popular Revolucionaria Mártires del ‘68 has championed their cause through political prints and cultural workshops.
