Larnaca Salt Lake is a complex network of four salt lakes of different sizes to the west of the city of Larnaca. The largest is lake Aliki, followed by lake Orphani, lake Soros and lake Spiro. They form the second largest salt lake in Cyprus after the Limassol Salt Lake

Walk around the lake along the linear trail, approx. 4 km, to the old aqueduct of Kamares. Go back the same way, and visit the Hala Sultan Tekkesi mosque. Do the walk, preferably in winter as the place is the home to migrating birds, including flamingos.

Nice, quite open place, with nice views, you can walk, relax, you can travel by bicycle or car. In the winter, you can enjoy the beautiful flamingo and other birds to be found around the lake waters, while in the summer it's a dry open place yet still beautiful to experience.

The famous Salt Lake that fills with flocks of vibrant pink flamingos in the winter months attracts visitors for its natural beauty and ecological value. You will also find here the mosque of Hala Sultan – an important place of pilgrimage for Moslems that is flanked by the Lake.
