An easy, relatively flat 1 mile hike to the falls is a great option for families. You can keep going further down the trail as well to get more steps in! NOTE: This hike requires the crossing of No-Hands Bridge. There is a guard rail, but best to keep a close eye on those kiddos. Parking here can be tough on the weekends, so be prepared with some patience. Don't want to deal with parking? Take the Auburn On-Demand bus and get a ride! www.auburn.ca.gov/192/Transit-Services

This trail offeres views of the Foresthill Bridge, one of the highest bridges in the country. On one direction, you will go over No Hands Bridge, quite right away and have stunning views of the american river! Keep going for a mile and you will come to the falls... just a little stream with a nice wooden foot bridge.. the farther you go on this trail, the more challenging it is. it ends in a park about 2 miles from the start. if you go the other way, you will soon connect to the world famous 'Training Hill' on the also famous Western States 100 mile trail! no falls, but incredible vistas and lots of walkers and runners and occasionally horses.
