Just 20 min drive away, this is the largest zoo in the UK. Worth a visit.

Recently named the top zoo in the UK, Chester zoo is a short 10 to 15 minute drive or bus ride from the flat. Here you will be able to see 15,000 animals and 500 different species (well maybe not in one visit!). Be sure to get an early start as there is so much to see - we love the giant otters and the butterfly house.

Iconic Chester Zoo, (Often seen on TV) Has had a lot spent tehre adding new features over the last few years. Well worth a visit.

Its a great Zoo with larger enclosures for the animals. I appreciate this is not for everyone but if you like Zoos, this is one of the best.
