At the hotel entrance, unobtrusively to one side, there is a little-known secret coffee shop with no name and that not a soul in Nairobi knows about...mouhahahaha! It's literally metres from the Bungalow, quiet and hidden away, with devilishly delicious baked goods, coffee, tea etc. On a chilly day or as an alternative to caffeine, try the "dawa" - lemon, ginger, honey, cinnamon. Open early, closes at 10.00pm. Fantastic for a change of scene, meeting point, landmark, drop-off/collection point, clue in a treasure hunt...:)
