Not the best beach in the province of Málaga by any means, but a very good one considering its proximity to the historic centre. Its location is ideal to either begin or end a day of sightseeing. From September on, it's not really necessary to bring a parasol. Most light-skinned blonde people are seen on this beach without one all year long, anyway. The beach also features a walkway with a bike lane and many restaurants where you can enjoy pescaito frito and all kinds of barbecued seafood and nice drinks.

Enjoy the beach where locals come to bathe and soak up the sun with families.
Walk to Plaza Merced, walk through the tunnel and follow the big street after the traffic circular. The beach ‘Malaguetta’ is at the end of the street. Approximately a 15 minute walk. You can rent chases with service at the Chiringuitos. It's the closest beach, very nice, chase rentals available at the Chiringuitos.
