Saape Lounge, Lavington

Why locals recommend it

Saape is a bar with views to the Ngong Hills, made famous in the book Out of Africa. The décor is quite masculine: chunky brown chairs and hardwood floors. There’s a little terrace where I like to go to catch the sunset, and then I usually stay around to watch sports on the big screens. This is a no frills place with a great view, so it’s better to stay simple and stick to standard Kenyan beers like Tusker or Tusker Malt.
