Why locals recommend it

This Japanese restaurant dates back to 1931 and boasts its own lake full of colorful carp. Each private room offers a different view of the traditional garden outside—as you finish your meal, take an extra moment to savor your tea while listening to the sound of water flowing, and momentarily forget the hustle and bustle of daily life. A high-end restaurant, Jisaku is not cheap, but both the cuisine and the atmosphere it offers are priceless. As soon as you enter, you’ll be greeted by several of the restaurant’s staff, who will wait on you politely until your meal is complete.
