If you bring your furry friend and happen to have an emergency, the town of Verona (4 miles south on the main road Route 11/Lee Highway) has the area’s veterinarian emergency hospital. It’s not staffed 24 hours a day but there is a phone number outside to call and someone will speedily meet you there.
