Tips from locals
This Balkan specialty shop serves up signature bureks, baked phyllo dough wraps. But don't forget to get one of their meat sandwiches, like the cevapi sausage sandwich.
Bosnian refugees opened this no frills Balkan spot in 1997 to churn out home style Eastern European fare like burek, goulash and stuffed cabbage. Definitely try the burek (spinach, cheese or meat) and the cevapi.(small sausages)
I'm not sure what to categorize this as, but if you have never had Burek, go hungry. It's basically a huge savory pie that our former-Yugoslav friends inhale in place of breakfast and lunch. It's also an awesome place to just feel the vibe from that part of the world :).
