Iconic hotel in the heart of town, Starbucks in the large cafe, Irish Pub on one side, and then my favorite, Chubby Chipmunk, the best hand dipped chocolate truffles ever.

Pop in at will and check out the hotel lobby for some interesting history and unique Native American details. Find some real treasures in the gift shop. If you can find a way to get up to the rooftop bar you'll be rewarded with some one of a kind views of Rapid City. My bf said of this allegedly haunted locale, "Come for the swastikas, stay for the shining."
