Richmond town is a historic market town with plenty of shops, cafés, and tea rooms. It’s worth spending some time here, it’s a hidden gem! You could easily wander around all day, especially if the weather is nice.

Lots of deli's (Wilfreds), cheese shop (The Cheese Press) and an array of cafes (Mocha, Sip, The Little Drummer Boy, Cross View cafe) and bars (Moreo, Bar 29, The Fleece, Kings Head Hotel, Black Lion, Castle Tavern) and small independent shops and supermarkets (Co-op in centre, Lidl on outskirts)
