Fonts d’Algar is a beauty spot where nature is at its best. Equipped with tourist services and a there is a small entrance fee. Composed of spectacular waterfalls, springs and sources that bubble up out of the rock, as well as the “tolls”, pools where you can take dips. Even in the hottest summers the water will appear to be quite cold. There are plenty of stairs to climb if you want to reach the top and water shoes are recommended. Surrounding Algar Falls you can enjoy lunch or dinner as there are child friendly restaurants, some with play areas and a pool.

Great place to spend a few hours. Get there early for easier parking. It does get very busy peak summer

There is so much water here, even in the summer you can cool off in a lack or waterfall This place is very beautiful and there are many places one more beautiful than the other all close by !

Stunning landscape and cool in the summer. Big dive holes for the adventurous, and large shallow lagoons for the little ones. Many restaurants with pools around the area for lunch.
