Known as Piazza Dante, with the statue of the poet Dante in the center of this monumental square.

The legend say that the ball will fall on the head of the first honest man that will pass under it. Unfortunately is still in its place! Also known as Piazza Dante, the square has a statue of Dante. Dante was a friend of Cangrande della Scala, most famous Scaliger ruler of Verona (the last part of Divina Commedia is in his honor).

All the old historical city center is an open air artwork, but this is my favourite square in Verona. Moreover you can enjoy a very good pizza at the Impero Restaurant, just seating outside in the piazza. Don't miss it.
