Mayor parque de sevilla para ir en bici o hacer picnic. Biggest park of the city, for picnic.
The right bank of the Guadalquivir River, north of the Monastery of the Cartuja de Santa María de las Cuevas, was populated for a long time with poplars, which served as a defense against the continuous avenues and overflows of the river. This place, in which a long mall was formed, has been called the Alamillo for five centuries.
Grab a picnic and rent a bike to ride up the canal and across the bridge into this great nature area. A couple of small food stalls within the park too. A great way to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city for a day. Let us know if you need recommendations for bike rental companies.
A beautiful park, ideal for take a walk, biking, jogging or just chill and relax enjoying the view.
