Beautiful trail to hike during the summertime. Only about a 15 minute drive from the townhouse. Bloods Lake is absolutely pristine. I would highly recommend for families with kids around 7+ years old. The hike to the lake is about 1.5 miles, but there are some switchbacks, rocks and steeper parts. It will get your heart rate up, and might be a bit much for younger kids. The trail continues another mile to Lake Lackawaxen, if you want to make a day of it!

A medium strenuous hike through high elevation forests ends at a beautiful mountain lake. The drive up to the trailhead from Park City is a spectacular scenic drive over Empire Pass... highly recommend any summer visitor to Park City visit this area

Moderate 2.8 mile in and out with a gorgeous lake to enjoy at the end! Great during fall when the aspens change colors or as a snowshoe in winter!
