no trip to cape breton is complete without a drive around the Cabot trail ! Expect to take the day around as you'll want to stop to take in those views and take photos. Be careful it's winding. Be mindful of keepinga full tank of gas as you can go some distance without gas ...and if you time it right you can watch the sunset at the end of your drive.

The world-famous Cabot Trail is a stunning drive, whether by car, van or motorbike. Along the way, there are gorgeous views, hidden beaches, excellent campsites and hiking trails, plenty of restaurants, and of course the Artisan Trail with local Cape Breton artists, metalworkers, glass artisans, leatherworkers, potters and more.
