Head out for the day and go check out the Bird Sanctuary trails in Kentville. There is a maze of single track biking and hiking trails through tall pine forests. Search the location. There are multiple entrances. The one I usually start at is the parking lot beside Evergreen Home for Special Care in Kentville.
