Nysø is a beautiful estate next to Præstø harbour which houses a collection of classisistic art and sculpture from Bertel Thorvaldsen. For the historically and artistically interested visitor, this museum is a must!

Godset rummer et lille museum for Thorvaldsen. Der findes også ting af H.C. Andersen, som han havde klippet når han var på besøg hos baron Henrik Stampe og hustru Christine Stampe. En vandretur i parken giver en stemningsfuld fornemmelse af fortiden.
