Right around the corner, donation based, really neat to see and hear the wolves, simple walking trails with pretty views of the Ausable River. If you’re lucky you may catch a glimpse of a moose!

A private center run by truly dedicated individuals. Look for their 2 wolves and numerous raptors.

This is a free, donations encouraged wildlife refuge with local, beautiful animals. Also I nice walk and close to Lake Placid for a great day trip!

This place is amazing! You can see real wild life! These people devote their lives to rehabbing and helping the rest of the Adirondack mountains' population(non-human). Here you can see Eagles, Ravens, Fox, Wolves, Goose, Coyote, Owls, Falcons, Hawks, and who ever else has come along that needs a little assistance or rehabbing.

Very nice rehabilitation refuge for our wildlife. They operate on donations so please help support them if you visit. They give a lengthy speech most days and it’s very informative.
