The Metropolitan Cathedral of Iasi is the largest place of worship in Iasi (and among the largest in Romania), being the cathedral of the Metropolitan Church of Moldova and Bucovina. In 1889 the coffin with the relics of the Holy Pious Parascheva, the patron saint of Moldavia, was brought from the Church of the Holy Three Hierarchs in Iași.
