If you're in town when the ice carvings are out, this is a MUST SEE! You'll never see such a collection of talent anywhere else in the world. Dress warm, and keep cameras and phones in inner pockets so the batteries don't drain between photos.

This is 15 minutes away by car. You can go during the day but evening, after dark is really the best.

An absolute Must See if you are here in February or March!! From young to old there is something here for you! A Park with slides, ice toys, mazes etc for children and the young at heart... then walk through the labyrinth of ice carvings and marvel at the beauty carved by people from around the world. If you stay until after dark, the park comes alive with lights that twinkle through the ice and dance across the darkness. There are refreshments, hot drinks and warm up areas available.
