This is so much fun! AND- It’s close. Less than 10 min. via Uber. Most non-NYers don't know about this. Its a totally residential neighborhood so other than this there would be no reason to visit. At Christmas this hood explodes with lights and christmas cheer. There are blocks of homes that are highly decorated with holiday flair. When I say A LOT- I mean dozens of homes bursting with very sophisticated displays, live Santa & Sesame Street characters walking around. Holiday music. Christmas on steroids. Its a lot of fun and a sight not to be missed.

During the Christmas Holidays, this is a MUST SEE spot that most tourists don't even know about! We are locals and have been going here for years. This area is famous for their beautifully done decorations that span several blocks and is such a stunning sight to see. The best thing about it besides the view? It's FREE! Although you may want to stop and buy some hot chocolate from the food truck that hangs out nearby.

Come see the Brooklyn neighborhood with the most Christmas spirit! Residents of Dyker Heights start bedazzling their houses right after Thanksgiving.
