The restaurant had this old Shanghai feel to it from the second I stepped inside. Decoration has an old Shanghai charm, from the green walls to the ceiling fans and all the little ceramic decoration pieces. Service was good, a bit slow but attentive nevertheless. Usually you have to wait for seats since there were many people waiting for tables. So if you don't mind to have an early dinner, you should be there at 5:30pm. Food was DELICIOUS! I always thought Shanghainese cuisine is too sweet and too greasy to my taste, but not the case at Ren He Guan. Everything ordered was fresh and light, even when the dish looked like it could be heavy it wasn't.
