Sprouts is a locally run supermarket. They also sell vitamins and nuts, etc. in barrels. Their prices are better than Whole Foods, which is right off of Via de la Valle.

Fresh produce at great prices (better than Vons). Also has a variety of healthy bulk foods, gluten free items and organic items. Bring reusable bags or you can purchase bags at 10 cents each.
