Why locals recommend it
Once a deserted space in a built-up and hectic area, this plot has been redesigned into an attractive, cleverly planted, and beautifully nurtured garden, a triangular space which backs down to the railway line. The garden is fully enclosed and has an outdoor cafe, so you can sit with a coffee and let the kids run off, knowing they can’t get out. They have decided to leave one play area natural at the end of the garden, with bendy overgrown shrubs kids love to climb through and a wet, muddy area for splashing in Wellington boots.

A secret community garden hidden behind buildings. They do amazing pizzas and often have live music. I would highly recommend a visit.

Magical garden and cafe by day, loved by families: enjoy the log burner and a sofa in the greenhouse. At night the lanterns come out and it turns into a fairyland garden and bar. Good in summer and in winter you will need to dress warm, and they may have a blanket to lend you. Don't miss it..…

a magical place - an informal garden oasis with many different events and the best pizza ever (only 2 types to choose from though)
