Tequila's is easy to get to, has plenty of parking and recently added outdoor seating. Of all the restaurants in Trinidad, I would say this is the closest we have to Tex-Mex. The fajitas are always a good choice, but most everything on the menu is tasty and the portions are generous. This one is also OPEN on SUNDAYS and MONDAYS (unlike most restaurants in town). They are dog-friendly as long as you eat on the new outdoor patio, If you happen to be allergic to dairy like me, be informed, their guacamole has sour cream in it. Order avocade slices instead.
