Open on Sundays between 11 am and 5 pm, and is really cosy if the weather allows for you to sit outside. The owner is really friendly, and will tell you about the old, family run place if you ask.

A truly hidden gem in Sagene. Only open on sundays, this family driven cafe have delicious Norwegian “sveler” and a beautiful backyard in their old townhouse.

Shhh. A secret little café who sells coffee and 'sveler', a norwegian batter based cake, bears a resemblance to American pancakes. It is in this beautiful garden - must check out!

Sundays only but great local place that serves the traditional Norwegian cake/waffle like dish called Svele.

Only open Sundays (13-16 I believe). Super-cozy, a hidden gem in Oslo! Very romantic, and non-typical Norwegian. The "svele" you can buy is super-Norwegian though :)
