Restaurant Cubo is offering great food inspired by the Mediterranean and Slovenian flavors. It is more of a Mediterranean restaurant. Their menu is changed seasonally but they keep their classics (like Pate and Steaks) all year around. Cubo is favorite destinations for business lunches and dinners and can be busy through the day. Reservation is recommended during lunch and dinner times (between 12 - 3 pm and 6 - 9 pm). Prices at the Cubo are moderate. Approximately 4 km out of the downtown, taxi fare will be around 7,00€ (inc. flag-fall).

The prices aren't the lowest, but they are very appropriate for what you get: excellent food & wine. I would go for a magnificent roast octopus if your into seafood.
