Great locals Beach on the South Coast - park in field by St Levan Church, past Minack Theatre or if coming by foot it is accessible on the south West Coast Path from either direction (Porthcurno or Porthgwarra) or the footpath from St Levan church. There are no lifeguards on Porthchapel beach and a seasonal dog ban from 8 am to 7pm, but only below the hugh water mark on the beach.

Probably our favourite beach (well used to be) It is pretty tricky getting down on to it these days, you do need to be sure footed and fairly fit for the climb down and back. Tides can be high and currents strong. It is a beautiful beach though. I wouldn't recommend this beach for families.

A grueling walk/climb down to the beach but worth it when you get there.
