Tips from locals
Tiny Marsh is a very accessible location for observing wildlife. There are trails around the perimeter as well as a linear walking path through the centre of the marsh itself, allowing unobstructed views of the entire region. During your visit the marsh is rich in dragonflies, wildflowers, lily pads, and numerous bird species. Red-winged blackbirds are particularly abundant, however several herons, swans, and marsh wrens make appearances too. Watching a hungry tern diving for fish is also a highlight. Visit in Spring/Fall and hopefully catch some of the migrating species passing through.

Beautiful marsh with hiking trails, boardwalk and a lookout tower that is almost always completely empty; we almost always see turtles and trumpeter swans. Free.
