La Maison Picotiere has been completely renovated: lots of natural light, a kitchen with a coffee nook, new natural wooden countertop, a washing machine and... a HEATED FLOOR throughout the house! The house is 1h15 from Paris, located in Thymerais, at the crossroads of Beauce, Perche, Basse-Normandie, and Drouais country. Away from noise, surrounded by pear trees, apple trees, Queen-Claude plum trees, cherry trees and hazelnut trees, in the heart of the countryside.

In a small independent house, on our 2 ha property, you can enjoy our beautiful garden as well as the view of the countryside while being in your little cocoon. We fell in love with Perche and renovated this little piece of heaven: La Grande Maison for us and La Petite Maison for our guests... so that you too can experience the Perche Effect!

Less than 30 km from Chartres and 5 km from Courville-sur-Eure train station (Paris-Montparnasse line), you are here in the heart of nature, conducive to calm and rest. The sound of the river, the song of the birds, the 13th century mill are there for a total change of scenery. The river lends itself to a short swim, a kayak ride or a fishing trip. Fields and forests surround the mill and offer you many bike rides. And what a pleasure to have a picnic by a lake at sunset!

The A11 motorway is 10 minutes from Illiers-combray exit: n° 3.1 Nearby (3kms to Bailleau le Pin) are all shops ( supermarket, bakery, pharmacy... etc.) Bed linen and towels are provided.
