Foundak El Harameen (Bedroom 2)

Loved my stay here. Really cool and friendly neighbourhood in beautiful Esna. A little difficult to find initially, so: to get there you need to go to the end of Al Mahkama street (in direction away from Nile) and then turn left down Port Said - the hotel is on a side street to your left a minute or two walk down.
A modern lounge area features plush purple seating arranged around a low coffee table. Ambient lighting is provided by recessed lights and a softly glowing accent wall. Large windows reveal a view of the outside, enhancing the bright and welcoming atmosphere.

Summerland Hotel Abu Simbel Siyahi

EtienneRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This is a small hotel in the village of Abu Simbel, the value for money is very good, the room was clean, the managers very nice, there was a small mistake at one point that was well made up for, I recommend it for travelers with a limited budget. Small note for those who are light sleepers, some rooms overlook a square that can be a little noisy, ask for a room on the street side :)
A spacious living area is adorned with traditional mud brick architecture, featuring a large, inviting sofa. Shelves display various decorative items and books. In the background, the dining area and kitchen are visible, filled with natural light from large windows.

Gamandy Eco-Lodge (Khnum Room)

SherifRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Our stay in Gamandy Eco-Lodge has been very enjoyable. The location is close to Luxor's main attractions, but is also peaceful and quite and gives a great flavor of rural Egypt. We had a full crew of chef plus helpers preparing meals, providing the kids with attractions including bringing rabbits, sheep and a horse for the kids to play with. The accomodation is beautiful and integrates perfectly with local environment including having palm trees inside the rooms and in some of tha bathrooms. This is a perfect choice for families or a group of friends who want to connect, enjoy the outdoors but also be very close to some of the world's most attractive historic sites like valley of the kings and Karnak templte. We spent 4 nights in Gamandy Eco-Lodge and the kids are already asking about our next trip!
The iconic temples of Abu Simbel are viewed from the water, showcasing the grand statues carved into the cliff. A boat is seen navigating the river, with people gathered on the shore, highlighting the natural beauty and historical significance of the site.

Experience Authentic Abu Simbel

Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is the best host I've ever met, he handled everything for us, helped us buy Abu Simba light show at night and lead us in, tell us the best viewing location and time, give us free snacks and water and freshly made breakfast, he communicated everything with our driver in Arabic, the perfect itinerary at night and day was all made by this homestay boss.

Bedroom 3 El Salam Hotel, Esna

NawelRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
The accommodation was very clean, pleasant and faithful to the photographs. For the price (15th/night for 2) it's very reasonable. The hotel is very well located in Esna as it is close to restaurants and attractions such as the city's souk and especially a 5-minute walk from the temple of Khnoum. Breakfast was very complete, but you will have to pay 250 EGP/person since it is not included in the room price. In terms of access, the hotel is easy to find but be careful to go up to the 4th floor to find the rooms (on the 3rd you will only find the reception). I will gladly go back on my next visit to Esna and I highly recommend it!
