Family-friendly vacation rentals in The Bahamas

Harborside is a great option vs the hotel rooms in the other buildings as you can cook. The buses were easy and frequent. Tips for future guests- you can pack frozen meat in your suitcase. Grocery store food is 2x NYC prices so we took supplies, and bring some basic salt and pepper and such as the kitchen had good pots but not the normal Airbnb type basics. But..definitely stay here and make sure you read the activities guide to understand all that is available to do at the Atlantis, like the free movie theater and comedy club and animal feedings. We feel lucky we got to stay here for less than the Royal and yet enjoy everything Atlantis had to offer. We actually liked the pool at Harborside a lot the most as chairs were always available and it was very quiet. We also enjoyed the Cascades pool and beach between the Reef and Cove so make sure you explore over there. There are board games in the library too. Anyone who gets to enjoy the Atlantis is fortunate- book away!

Was a great place to stay for my family of 3. It was a great size, functional and in a great location. Elise was very responsive with any questions we had. Hoping to come back someday!

The pictures of this listing do not do it justice as to how beautiful the outdoor space is. the home is a bit of a maze but amazing. we had a amazing time and would definitely recommend.

Ravi was a great host, very responsive. The resort was truly wonderful, being able to walk right out to the beautiful white sand beach was truly a dream come true. We would definitely go back again!!

Awesome stay on Tar Bay! House was set up perfect with pod style rooms. Everyone had their own space and bathroom. Location was perfect, close to airport and stores. Beach was amazing and often secluded. Nemiah was always helpful. Can’t wait to be back!!

Our flight was delayed and we got in very late, we were still met at the villa and then the next day met again to show us around in the daylight!

The condo is super close to the pool, the resort is right across the street if you felt like walking. We rented a golf cart through Nate, it was great to get around the island. Would definitely stay here again, Bimini is a beautiful place to visit!

This house is soooooooo much better than is described and shown in the pictures. This is a beautiful home with lots of window light shinning throughout. Whenever I travel to Nassau with my family I will stay here. My family of 6 spent a very comfortable and outstanding week in this home. All of the 4 well furnished bedrooms are upstairs with 2 full bathrooms , one of which is located in the master bedroom at the top of the stairs. The kitchen has eveything needed to cook meals for a family of 6 and the gas grill is very clean. The swimming pool is clean and is nicely maintained. The patio and deck around the pool was very well lit with ceiling fans outside of the pool house. There is ample seating outside around the pool. My family and I spent a good amount of time sitting around the pool in the evening. The temperature was perfect at night. The beach is literally a 2 min walk away and is very clean with public bathrooms. My family felt very safe in this home and at the beach.

Place was great for the value, turtle cove is gorgeous, Atil was a great host. Make sure you touch base with him before the day you get there. I forgot to do this and had some complications finding the right place.

The place is more than beautiful. The property is located on a beachfront lot. The beach itself is really serene, we’ve seen only 3 people on it over the 4 days we’be passed there…. And it was Christmas… The villa is spacious for our party of two and could ideally accomodate a family. You’ll have every accessories you need to spend 2-3 weeks vacation there. We wish we’d book for longer but decided to visit a couple of Bahamian islands on our 10 day visit. There are lots of good restaurants nearby but a car is really a must if you want to reabh them easily. We liked afternoon munches at Potlatch Club, dinners at Bougainvillea and, of course, relax snacks at Tippy’s. Barbara is a great host and did everything she could to accomodate our (belated by the airline company) arrival and departure. Her manager, Winifred, is also really pleasant to deal with and efficent. I definetly would go again and recommend the place.

Do not second guess this unit is so beautiful,peaceful,clean and safe you would not regret it. I most certainly will book again and again.

This was our first trip to Eleuthera. We wanted to explore central and south Eleuthera with a house away from crowds. Exploring and connecting with the location we travel to is always a priority to us. The Round House was perfect. We only ate out twice, using the kitchen (except oven) to prepare our meals. In the evenings we relaxed inside with all the windows open listening to the Atlantic and always comfortable with the breeze. The beautiful landscape around the house makes it so easy to fall completely into the island experience. We had a fantastic 7 night vacay. Taja and Doon helped make that happen. We enjoyed visiting with locals on the island. The absolute nicest people!

Beautiful, spacious, spotless, well equipped e.g. kitchen. Justin met us at the house and explained all. He made helpful recommendations about local stores including the excellent Farm store at Palmetto point. Be prepared for price sticker shock for everything apart from rum! Be sure to look up specific directions to house. Key location ID is turning off next to Working Mens' Hostel, now a police HG, on Queen's highway. There is a lot of helpful info in binders and books in the house. Essential to rent a car. We used Wilton car rentals in Governor's Harbour. They brought our car to Eleuthera airport (ELH). Very responsive. It would have been a distinct plus if the pool had been a bit larger, but we visited beautiful beaches within 15-20 mins by car. Pascal's has a great pool and offers excellent Bahamian lunches. The local Bahamian people are absolutely wonderful-very friendly and most helpful. We had a very successful week long family vacation. We highly recommend this property

This Aibnb listing was just perfect for our stay at Bimini. Great location very close to everything. Great communication with host. We had a little issues with our trip due to weather conditions, we contacted Zeb and he help us in everything related to the reservation. The place was just as described. Very clean, spotless!!!!! Smell so good as we walk in. Had everything needed. Highly recommended it. Will definitely return. Thank you so much Zeb your apartment is perfect!!!!

Another great stay at Jason’s place. The accommodations were perfect for our annual Tuna trip. House was perfect, and Jason is a great host! Look forward to next year!

We had a fabulous time at this house. The photos do not do the views and the area around it justice, it is so much better than you think! The beach is a 30 second walk, and was pristine and almost empty always! The Poop Deck next door had great food and drinks (and service!) and the private dock with sunbeds by the pool where you can access the ocean is like your own personal paradise. The staff and security in the neighborhood were all very lovely and helpful. If I come back to the Bahamas I’ll be staying here! Thanks so much!

Tatjana’s apartment was even better than described. So spacious and well designed, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need. The pool and beach area were stunning and the fact that you could do water sports right from the beach was a big plus. Lovely location. The beach towels, cool box and snorkelling gear was so handy to take out and explore the beautiful beaches. Would highly recommend hiring a car so you can get anywhere you’d like. Tatjana is a wonderful host - super helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for our stay.

A gem in paradise. Great location right on the canal. Beautiful, clean codo with beautiful views. Host was very accommodating, friendly and answered all questions quickly. Plenty of room for my party of 6. Can’t wait to stay there again next year. Highly recommend

Nadia's place was perfect for our family of 4. Comfortable space, well stocked supplies for cooking in the kitchen (and thanks for the arrival snacks!), a nice back deck to eat on (with chairs and fold up table), and easy access to Love beach and the pool. Thankful for the provided beach mats and umbrella, we utilized them at the other beaches nearby (Jaws, Adelaide) and made good use of our rental car, hitting many further parts of the island (Downtown, Paradise Island, etc). It was always nice to come back to the quiet west end at the end of the day. The hosts are impeccable - communicative & easy to converse with, willing to provide recommendations (which we enjoyed!), flexible in our check out time due to a later flight, and when we had one issue with internet, they provided a work around immediately. This is a great spot.

Really nice house at a great location. Good market nearby and a close to beautiful mostly deserted beach. The inclusion of two cars is really nice. We had a great family reunion and the host made available a high chair and baby gates to accommodate us. Highly recommend.

John's place is truly heaven on earth. Walk outside and right into the beach and ocean. The beds, rooms, amenities were all fantastic. The site manager was very quick to respond to inquiries. If you come here and you want to explore, I highly recommend you rent a car (we did). It is on the quieter side of the island which was a welcome benefit. We would certainly come back.

Staying at Giovanna’s guest house was exactly what my soul needed. From the moment I arrived, Giovanna made me feel genuinely cared for. She accommodated my early arrival, had provisions in the house for me. Giovanna didn’t miss a beat, she checked in on me, always ensured I had what I needed. The guesthouse itself was beautifully kept, peaceful, and had all the touches to make me feel as if I were home. The infinity pool is even more impressive in person. The views are breathtaking. When I was preparing to leave, I messaged Giovanna regarding my flight, she immediately responded and arranged for me to be taken to the airport. That kind of kindness is rare, and meant the world to me. I left feeling lighter, happier, and incredibly grateful.

My second time in this lovely apartment with a patio on the canal. Great place, lovely decoration and very well equipped I m going back soon ! Thank you Rafael
