Villa vacation rentals in Terre-de-Haut

We had a great time at Daniel and Sylvie's. For four, what space! A real house, very well arranged, with a sublime view of the sunsets 🌅 (the weather was not very kind but we were able to admire a few!). The bedding is excellent, the location is very quiet, the kitchen is very well-equipped. The house is rented with a dog and 2 or 3 lovely country cats who roam freely, beware of people who fear animals! Air conditioning is available at night, and in the early afternoon. Hot water is dependent on daily sunshine. Perfect stay in Bouillante, with turtles 🐢 just down the house! We'll be back with pleasure! Thanks Sylvie!

Our host Claudia was very responsive to all our requests and flexible on our arrival and departure time. The villa is well-equipped and outward-facing with a covered patio on half of the surface. The ultimate asset is its magnificent view of the Saintes, even more sublime than in the photos which cannot account for the depth and changing colors depending on the time of day and the weather. Good to know for your stay: the access road is quite steep, as with all the attractions perched in Basse-Terre, and the villa is of rustic West Indian character, not to be compared with the comfort of a recent modern villa. I highly recommend this listing which fully met our expectations.

We loved this place! Sylvette is very welcoming too. It's true that the place is a little noisy with the cars passing by, but we haven't been bothered much by the noise. We enjoyed the pool and garden.

The location of the listing is ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the nautical and marine activities of Malendure. Forest hikes are close by. What makes the accommodation special is the grandiose view of the sea, the banana crops and the mountain and a beautiful terrace to enjoy it in the evening. Add to that the proximity to shops (5 minutes walk and a few calories less for the climb), a few restaurants, lolos, en primeurs, takeout sellers... Nothing is missing! The accommodation is well-equipped, neat (with precious wood on the floor). Thanks to Nathalie for her informed advice (and her book)

We would recommend this listing to Jen. It is very quiet, with parking possible for a vehicle. Although in a local home, we have our privacy. Very warm welcome and some local touches. It is very close to Basse-terre and Soufriere.

Superb apartment, perfectly renovated interior, very well arranged, equipped and tastefully decorated.

The house has all the amenities for a pleasant stay with friends and family. Very good location and strategic to discover Basse-Terre. Cedric was super welcoming, responsive and available for questions and very good advice for good places and events nearby. We recommend 100%!

The villa is very large, plenty of room for anybody. Beautiful terrace and infinity pool for lounging. Room with air conditioning, making the stay very pleasant. Sophie was very kind and gave us some great information for check-in.

We had originally rented another villa from SB. There was no possibility to stay there due to circumstances, but this villa was proposed very smoothly and quickly. Laurent was super friendly and very practical. The villa had like what we expected . Very nice view of the bay and within walking distance of Malendures . Clean and nicely decorated . The only downside is that the pool is not next to the terrace but one floor down for another bedroom. This makes it less practical/cozy. We'll be back ! Thanks Laurent !

A great stay at Evelyne's in a beautiful and very typical Home. We enjoyed everything from the setting to the cleanliness of the place and the feeling of being in a unique place. We had planned to visit the surroundings, but in the end we preferred to stay in the park, enjoy the river. I recommend without hesitation, this beautiful house. Especially since Evelyne is a perfect host who told us about her home and family.

We had an absolutely magical stay in this cottage nestled in the heart of nature. The terrace is peaceful, the pool is well placed and the sea view is simply amazing. The best place for sunsets. Also, the location is ideal for discovering Bouillante and its surroundings, it is a stone's throw from the Cousteau reserve and the beaches. We recommend this cottage without hesitation and will be happy to go back!

We loved our stay in Trois Rivéres, Base Terre. The house is nicely designed with a modernist feel, spacious and comfortable, with two floors. We had the most stunning panoramic ocean view with cool breezes. Possibly, one of the best views we have had in all our stays in different places. The environment around the house was clean, green and quiet. The island of Basse Terre is wild, rugged and verdant. Roger was super helpful, warm and attentive. We really appreciated him as our host. We had a flat tire out on the freeway, and he came to our rescue as soon as possible. I recommend staying here as the best place on the island with Roger as your host. You, however, need a car to go in and out of the house and, generally, to get around in Guadeloupe. It would be best if you also were a competent driver as you will confront hilly roads, sharp curves and other fast drivers on the road.

We were perfectly hosted by Rodrigue, who is very clear and available. The place is beautiful and as described. We had a great time. Only small downside we had some problems with the wifi to watch the match of the French Rugby team.

Calypso Bay, one word: BEAUTIFUL A breathless view! Every morning is a pure delight and the sunsets are just as… The house is very beautiful, very clean, very well arranged There's no shortage of anything! Each has their own bedroom, their own bathroom An open and well equipped kitchen . We also loved the company of the little birds who came to make cuckoos, robins, hummingbirds, square-tailed turtledoves… Great exchange with Fanny, the owner, and Laurence. When we arrived, a fruit basket was waiting for us as well as some groceries, which was appreciated because we arrived on a Sunday late. A welcome booklet, super complete! A very nice week on Basse-Terre …

Nathalie is a very responsive, friendly host. The space was perfect. No disappointment. The setting is beautiful as well as the house. We spent 5 nights with 8 people and invested both properties. The house is very pleasant to live in, very well-equipped. I enjoyed the nice dishes too! you feel at home. The center is accessible on foot if you like to walk a little and the fig cove, nearby, little frequented, is a beautiful aquarium.

The house offers breathtaking views of Terre de Haut. A stay in a peaceful and heavenly setting. The pool is a real plus. Host Céline was very attentive and responsive. We recommend this comfortable listing when you come to Saintes. Thank you.

Great stay in a villa perfect for small and large families. Quiet and private place, clean accommodation with everything you need, well divided (air-conditioned rooms away) and breathtaking views of the Cousteau Reserve, both from inside and outside the villa. Great stay at Florent and Nicole's who welcomed us very warmly. Comfortable, well air-conditioned house with a magnificent view, even more beautiful than in the photos, all in the heart of a very well-maintained garden and rich in a magnificent variety of plants and fruits all tastier, which Nicole put heart into making us discover personally. We stayed at Sylvie’s lovely home for several days over the winter holidays. The view is beautiful and the home is a short walk to shops and dining, but away from the bustle of town enough to be very quiet. The house is spotless and very nicely decorated with vintage style appliances, matching tableware, shells and other coastal decor. We enjoyed buying fresh pastries from the bakery down the street and eating breakfast with a view of the sea. We also walked to several beaches. Warda provided a warm welcome. We wish we had booked it for longer and would love to return!
