Had a great stay in Himare. The apartment was a great space lovely, clean and bright. So close to the sea giving great views. Would recommend:)

Unsere Zeit in Gjirokaster war unvergesslich – nicht zuletzt wegen dieser ganz besonderen Unterkunft. Das Haus liegt malerisch oben am Berg mit einem traumhaften Blick ins Tal und auf die gegenüberliegenden, von der Sonne angestrahlten Hänge – einfach spektakulär! Ein echtes Highlight war die herzliche Gastfreundschaft von Adi und seiner Mutter. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Jeden Morgen wurde uns ein liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück serviert, das seinesgleichen sucht – mit regionalen, hausgemachten Spezialitäten, darunter frischer Börek, der uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Wir können diese Unterkunft von Herzen empfehlen – für alle, die Ruhe, Aussicht und echte albanische Gastfreundschaft suchen. Danke, Adi!

I had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The host was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire booking and stay. The pool was heated, had a jacuzzi massage feature and lights. The accommodation came with a golf cart that we were able to drive around the complex and to the beach with free parking right by the water. The pull out beds came with mattress toppers. There was free coffee and beach towels to use. I’d absolutely stay here again

We verbleven met ons gezin (twee dochters van 20 en 18 jaar) 3 nachten in het huis van Luan. Het was de beste airb&b ervaring van onze hele vakantie. Luan en zijn vrouw hebben ons heel hartelijk verwelkomd. Ze kookten voor ons een heerlijke maaltijd en in de ijskast stonden allerlei lekkernijen voor bij het ontbijt zoals zelfgemaakte boter en kersenjam, verse melk en kaas. Uit de moestuin was nog meer lekkers te eten zoals tomaten, komkommer, aardappels en fruit. De omgeving was schitterend. Midden in de bergen in de prachtige natuur. We hebben op advies van Luan een mooie wandeling gemaakt naar de waterval en de middag doorgebracht bij de rivier. Gjirokaster is op anderhalf uur rijden, een mooie bestemming voor ons dag tripje. We zouden zeker terug komen en raden iedereen dit verblijf aan die willen genieten van de natuur (de weg ernaartoe vanaf Tepelene is een van de mooiste berg passen die we ooit hebben gereden) en een gevoel krijgen bij de Albanese gastvrijheid.

Bujtina’s place was in a perfect location for a relaxing night away. We had an incredible walk into the mountains, and a delicious breakfast provided for us. Fantastic stay. Thank you!

Our stay at the cottage was a tremendous experience. We stayed for one month, and even on day 28 we were still utterly stunned with the beauty of the surroundings. Ntesina and her family were so friendly and helpful, even delivering goods from the farm and upgrading the WiFi so we could work remotely. The neighbours also brought us delicious fresh fruit. We highly recommend the property to anyone wanting a remote stay in the heart of Albania.

We had a beautiful stay at Ana and Karola’s place. The view is astonishing and the flowers and smells were divine. The house is a walk from any shops or beach, further than we anticipated, and perhaps not best suited to our needs(2 small kids, 2 older people and a pregnant woman) but we did manage… we chose to walk down to the beach each day, about an hour but was through the most magical, winding, wonderful landscape and wildlife, the only downside were the water pipes that cross-crossed the path (challenging for my mum). Each day we took at taxi back up from the beach to save our legs. One thing not mentioned in previous reviews was the walk round into the mountains which is about 10 mins from the house, incredible views, birds and flowers… The house is well equipped, missing only a couple of reclining chairs outside which would have been welcome and the use of a bbq for evening cooking. Karola was helpful and easy to reach. Thank you so much!

Het verblijf was heel erg fijn. Ali reageerde snel en vriendelijk, en gaf ons goede tips voor activiteiten in de buurt. De familie is ook ontzettend lief. Sla vooral het avondeten op de farm niet over! Een van het beste eten wat wij in Albanië hebben gehad.
