The Rock Loft on the Historic Adelaida Wine Trail

Stoke a wood-burning stove tucked into a corner where a rock wall forms an entire side of the house. This rustic aesthetic is reflected in stained timber floors and a concrete kitchen island, as well as corrugated metal used as a building material. The 1 bederoom loft style home has just been fully remodeled. We opened up the space to create a truly unique experience. The back of the home is exposed to the 20 foot original rock retaining wall. Guest have access to the entire house plus, outside gathering area and a long paved driveway that is great for a stroll - you can even hike to the hilltop for a peak of the Paso Robles rolling hills. There are pastures in front of the house that is currently home to our Texas Longhorn Ladies and the new baby. They can be viewed from the drive way and may get close if you offer them a snack. We don't live on the property, but there is a caretaker located on the grounds that can be reached for emergencies. We are located only a few minutes away if you need anything else, please feel free to call or text. The Loft is on a 16-acre property at the start of the Adelaida Road Wine Trail. The J Birdsall Banker property was developed from 1917 to 1919. The carriage house was constructed in 1919 and converted into housing during the housing shortage of World War 11 We have always referred to it as the honey moon suite because so many couples have lived there over the last 65 years. Couples still sometimes still stop to look and share old memories The carriage house was recently upgraded with all new interiors and is comfortably furnished
