This beautiful home is a wonderful find! it is quiet, peaceful, the neighbors and deer are friendly. it is close enough to downtown Belton but far enough we felt we were in the country. Jo is an absolute jewel. she greeted us shortly after we arrived! The house is spotless and well maintained. The landscaping is beautiful, you can tell it has been created with love. we are looking forward returning for another stay!

Amazing view! Even the cloudiness was beautiful, the deer was a plus to see in people’s yards. Would 100% stay here again.

This was exactly what we needed. Calm,quiet and very cozy. Had everything we needed and then some. I loved the setup,the deer roaming the neighborhood and even the neighbor. Dennis is very kind , respectful and very responsive. Thank you Dennis,you made our stay perfect! Everything was clean,beds were comfortable carpet was nice and thick. Pictures don't do it justice it's way better! When we're in Texas again, this is our spot.

Cute and comfortable place that was perfect for my coworker and I. Everything was spotless, the sheets and towels were in good shape, and the kitchen and laundry room were well-equipped. The place is decorated with cute, well-curated vintage items which was a nice departure from the normal Airbnb wayfair decor. Easy check-in and check out and good communication. Would stay here again!

This was a great place! Close to everything, the shops, the breweries, the swimming hole, etc. Also very walkable! Amazing artistic decor! Loved the record player! The beds were super comfortable and everything you needed was right there. We appreciated the communication for check in and was grateful for the early entry. Truly a unique and fabulous accommodation . Salado is a awesome place to visit and we couldn’t have been happier with the Artful Lodger.

Without a doubt a great place to stay! The host was fantastic! They went above and beyond to help us meet a special need. The whole place was so clean and every thoughtful detail was well appreciated. The location is a huge plus. We were just a couple of blocks away from UMHB which made it easy to attend events. Not only that, but the backyard was perfect for our pet. Completely fenced in, large concrete patio, and plenty of space to run and play. Bathroom spotless, beds super comfortable, kitchen spacious and easy to use. All and all, you won't find a better deal! This will be our spot to be as our student attends UMHB!

Great spot for us. Needed a place to stay for a fishing tournament, house was perfect and Belton was a cool little town!
