Fabulous in all respects: Carla, (her communications, help, humour and charm), the Villa, (comfort, facilities and cleanliness), the area, (quiet, peaceful, relaxing and an easy walk into town) and Tavira, (restaurants, bars, the boat trip to the island and chilled atmosphere). We’ll be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at casa do vale! The villa is stunning, very spacious and stylish. We were 6 adults and a baby and had everything we needed! Perfect that there are 3 bathrooms and we loved the outdoor shower! Kitchen was very well stocked and great to have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The pool is amazing though could do with another umbrella for a bit of extra shade when it’s very hot. The gardens around the villa are also so lovely. Feels very private and peaceful. There is a small shop a 5 minute walk away which is excellent for topping up on essentials. Bigger shops and bars/ restaurants are only a short drive away. Very easy to get Ubers into Tavira and Olhão also. Overall had an excellent holiday staying at Michelle’s place - would highly recommend!

Casa Azul is the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. The house was immaculately clean and the furniture, fixtures and fittings were very comfortable and to a high standard. The kitchen was well equipped. we loved the garden and the pool, and enjoyed the balcony for the evening sun . Natalie was a great host, very responsive and her recommendations were accurate. Tavira is a beautiful town and we enjoyed exploring the streets. We hope to stay again at some point.

We loved our stay at Casa Cavalo Marinho. A true haven of peace and quiet, with a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, everything we were looking for on this vacation. The house is impeccably equipped, with attention to every detail that made all the difference. The pool is nice and well maintained. Mr. Pedro was always very attentive and available. And our dog also had a dream vacation, with plenty of room to run and explore safely. We'll be back for sure and highly recommend.

We loved our short stay at Casa Boa Vista. The weather was great for February, so we even got to use the pool. The beautiful views definitely do justice to the name of the house! Communication with Gabriele and the managers went smoothly. Very friendly and always available. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home Gabriele. Wonderful property, with lots of privacy. It felt like a home away from home and was very conveniently located, walking distance from the ferry, restaurants and cafes as well as the grocery store. The kitchen was very well stocked and organized, allowing us to fix our own meals when we got tired of eating out. The host was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Nuno and Ana are wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts. The house is equipped with all ( and even more) comforts; really everything you need is present. We enjoyed the house, the garden and the location!!!

The villa is absolutely beautiful and everything has been thought about. It was so great to have two terraces - the main terrace on the ground floor is beautifully designed and gets the sun for most of the day, and the roof terrace is great for more privacy and to catch the evening sun with some stunning views! The kitchen is very well stocked, the beds are really comfy and the house was spotlessly clean! Gisela was an extremely kind and responsive host to answer any questions we had. Its about a 20 minute walk into the town, in a really peacful neighborhood, which was perfect for us. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we would definitely recommend! ❤️

Really nice little house with pool! Great with children and very calm area. Be aware that you drive ~25 minutes to the beach from Furnazinhas.

A wonderful cottage, very nicely furnished, we felt comfortable all around. The host is extremely helpful and courteous and was always available. A very nice stay, this accommodation is highly recommended!

Uta's place is magical. Set up high, it overlooks a small village to the south and the sprawling sera to the north. The surroundings are peaceful, away from the tourist bustle of coast. The casa itself is beautifully appointed. All of the practical things are just as they should be (great dinnerware; comfy beds; plenty of sitting areas) and, beyond this, the place is aesthetically joyous. Plenty of art and other thoughtful touches, carefully curated, that make it so inviting. Surrounding the casa are small pathways walled with verdant plant life. The whole place is clearly a labour of love. Uta is a responsive and thoughtful host. We liked it here so much we immediately booked for a longer stay next year. One of the very best places we've ever found on Airbnb.

Just wow! Rita met us to check us in and contacted us several times to make sure all was well. Any little issues were addressed right away, kindly and professionally. The little house was clean and cozy with great patio to enjoy a glass of wine with a view to the distant sea. We loved everything and Rita is wonderful!!!! Can’t recommend highly enough. Hope to return!

A Perfect Stay at Casa Clara! Our stay at Casa Clara in Santa Luiza was nothing short of magical. The house itself is stunning—elegantly designed, spotlessly clean, and filled with natural light. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, blending modern comfort with authentic Portuguese charm. The outdoor space was a dream: peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing mornings. We especially loved the proximity to the charming village of Santa Luiza, which feels like a hidden gem. There are good restaurants, supermarket/bakery & pharmacy 2 mins walk from the house. Check in/out was seamless & communication with Patricia was excellent. We felt truly at home and didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend Casa Clara to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway in the Algarve.

very pleasantly surprised by this very beautiful service in a very quiet place and the beautifully wooded garden. the calm and tranquility allowed us to rest well during the two weeks. the visits recommended by Adélia delighted us, our first getaway in Portugal is marked with a milestone. thank you again for Adélia's trust, which allowed us to return the keys via her mailbox without coming to check our passage.

Thanks a lot for a lovely stay Joao !! Many of us said, this was one of the nicest villas we've ever stayed in 😁 Gorgeous villa and pool, spacious and modern. Lovely outside seating areas and social spaces. Perfect location, far enough outside the main towns to ensure peace and quiet at all times of day, but close enough to drive 8-15 mins to Fuseta and Olhao (where there's endless cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from) ✨

Such a nice house and nice surroundings with oranges around the corner! Perfect house for us, who were there as a larger group. Nice rooms and perfect with larger social areas where everyone could hang out and the kids play. Extra plus for the order in the kitchen and an incredibly helpful and accommodating host!

Villa Mariana is a gem of a place, with the most fabulous and genuine owners that made our stay so welcome and enjoyable. We chatted to them, and enjoyed the stories of years gone by in the real Portugal. We also found out that Jose, Pedro's father, was a very talented artist with drawings and painting going back decades. The big highlight of our stay was the wonderful swimming pool, which we had exclusive use of. Sun loungers and a Gazebo to sit around the pool and have a cold beer or wine were very welcome too. We found that getting from Faro airport to Villa Mariana, was a small challenge, as Uber didn't recognise the address that we got from Pedro. So we took a Taxi to the Lidl supermarket at Sao Bras, where Pedro then picked us up in his car. This worked very well, but if Pedro is not there you will need to have a clear address, and take a taxi. Also, trying to get an Uber from Villa Mariana is impossible, so stick to genuine Taxis that are very good value. We had a great time !!

Where do I begin? The photos do not do it justice. It is gorgeous and just remodeled. Right out of a magazine. The color scheme is peaceful and we were torn from going out to explore and sitting on the roof top terrace relaxing. Wish we could of stayed longer, but we will be back!. So comfortable and beautiful. A perfect little cottage in the old town of Tavira. Close to everything. Thank you Penny for everything!!

Lovely traditional house within very easy, flat walking distance of Tavira town centre and the many restaurants there. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Great patio space for al fresco dining/sunbathing and useful touches such as extra large beach towels. View from the front is of car repair garage across the road but this really doesn’t matter as the patio is at the rear. Although we didn’t have chance to meet them David and Megan were very communicative hosts. All in all a great place to stay to easily enjoy all that Tavira has to offer.

The villa is very functional. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet. The villa is secluded and we enjoyed the quiet. The pool is lovely at the end of the day. The kitchen is very well equipped and nothing was really missing. It's a really lovely place to spend a pleasant stay. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We'll be happy to come back.

We were greeted by a woman who showed us how to use the TV remotes, pointed out features around the unit, gave us keys and answered questions. The place is located conveniently for using public transportation. Easy walk to the bus and train stations. Full grocery store and the mercado are within easy walking distance and a small convenience store is even closer. Bedroom was comfortable with plenty of linens, living room had a selection of books with throw pillows/blankets for rainy days. The bathroom was clean and larger than expected. We used the kitchen appliances regularly - everything was clean and worked properly. There is a rack for drying clothes on the rooftop terrace. It was very quiet at night. We enjoyed a snack and glass of wine on the rooftop terrace a few times and sipped morning coffee on the lower level patio. It was a pleasant stay and we are happy to recommend this airbnb.
