This retreat offers an experience in comfort & sustainability. You will be 5 to 15 km from some of NZ's great expansive white sandy beaches, stunning walks, cafes & outdoor pursuits. Your accommodation is half of the main house. It is completely closed off for your privacy with private access & outdoor deck. BBQ by request. Not suitable for children.

The cottage is nestled between small avocado and mixed fruit orchards, with a view out to the small pond and post’n’rail fenced paddocks beyond. It is ideally situated for day trips to the Kauri forests near Dargaville and to Northland's stunning Bay of Islands and further north. Day trips to nearby beaches are a must, particularly in the warmer months.

A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.

Breakfast items are also provided for you to prepare at your leisure.

Peaceful Garden Cabin

Our cabin is a cosy retreat set in our garden. It has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It is only 20 minutes from central Whangarei and 10 minutes from Kamo, Maungatapere and SH1 so if you are travelling it would be great a place to stay. Our garden cabin would be suitable for very good value medium to long term stays.
