Family-friendly vacation rentals in Tamil Nadu

The place was exactly as described. The caretaker was very helpful and welcomed us with a wonderful cup of tea. Prem was also very responsive. The bonfire was arranged upon request. We had a wonderful stay. Definitely recommended for people who are coming to Yercaud to chill and relax in a group.

Praveen's home was such a pleasant and peaceful place to stay. More than the stay, we enjoyed Acha's home-cooked authentic Kerala breakfast, lunch and dinner. Acha even prepared pazhapori (banana fritters) almost everyday, on special request from my daughter. Praveen was very hospitable and arranged boatrides, sightseeing and ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. A very humble family to stay with. Anilal is an amazing host! We truly enjoyed our stay at his hut. He is super friendly and was always available and responsive to any requests we had. He helped us arrange various activities and prepared delicious dinners for us! Anilal also gave us a tour of his farm and treated us to a fresh coconut, just cut from one of his palms. When we visited the local temple, he came along with us and kindly showed us around and introduce us to his friends, making the experience even more special. We also had the pleasure of meeting his lovely wife and daughter and shared a great conversation with them. If you're looking for a genuine local experience, I highly recommend staying at Anilal’s place. He’ll make you feel like part of his family! A Truly Magical Stay in a Traditional Kerala Home I had an unforgettable experience staying at this beautiful traditional Kerala home, built around 30 years ago. The moment I stepped in, it felt like walking into a classic Malayalam movie—surrounded by lush greenery, with the charm and character of old Kerala architecture. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and nostalgic. The house itself is well-maintained and full of warmth, with wooden interiors and vintage touches that transport you to a different era. The surrounding area is simply breathtaking—everywhere you look, there's green. Mango trees of various types line the property, and during my stay, I could even pluck and enjoy some fresh ones right from the trees! Well when we as a group of old friends decided to meet for a reunion and were looking for a place to spend an entire day reliving byogone days, we ended up our search at this place just an hour away from city. What a place! That was our reaction as soon as we entered the premises. The structures within the area are tastefully designed and placed giving prominence to the greenery. We were welcomed by Sandeep: our host and gave a brief about what we would be in for. He was warm and suave and we connected instantly. We had the entire property to ourselves and we indulged in playing Futsal in the lawn area, reminiscing and having lots of banters. We were assisted by 2 caretakers who are always present to tend to your needs at any point in time. The food was top notch and we also had some BBQ during night time along with great music and projector in the lounge area. Although we didn't use the swimming pool and thus missing out, it was clean and was designed perfectly with artificial water f

Veena’s place was an absolute delight to stay at! Loved how peaceful and secluded it was, and the place was away from the hustle of the city.

The place was well designed and the interiors were our favourite part. Very aesthetically done with a homely feel. It also had a nice pool where the kids had a fun time. Our host, Chikky, was very transparent with us when answering our queries. When asked about power fluctuations, Chikky was candid and offered alternatives by ensuring the generator was available to use and shared future plans to mitigate the challenge. We had senior citizens and kids and she was empathetic to our needs. Chikky was a host we felt we could trust, as she was more focused on our family having a good experience. The kitchen had very good amenities and was well maintained. There are a couple of good restaurants within 4 kms and the food can be ordered via Swiggy as well although we did not try this option. Overall, it was a good stay if you are looking for a relaxed time with family/friends.

Amruth’s home stay was as perfect as the images portrayed in the app. The aesthetics was commendable. What was the highlight of the stay was the view and surrounding; calm & quiet, stunning view of the Periyar river. The place was neat, clean and very comfortable. Amruth is a gem of a person. He very polite, a responsive host, always trying to ensure his guest are comfortable and provided for, goes out of his way to ensure he keeps it that way. Easily one of the best stays, you can find on Airbnb along the East coast road. The hospitality was too good. The caretakers at the property were genuinely concerned about us and accompanied us even during late night walks to the private beach. I had my doubts during booking as there are no good restaurants nearby the accommodation, but the food prepared by the cooks were too good. We ended up eating both dinner and breakfast at the Bnb! Pool slide, ATV, Kayak, Cycles, outdoor games were standout of this place! Thank you Venkat for hosting us!
