Lucho wasn’t just a host, he was our friend. This guy worked night and day to make our excursions happen! Did not expect that for such a cheap price! As well, the macaw that lives at the lodge is quite the character!

Very nice place a little away from the city, space, nature, tranquility and a warm welcome! I felt like I was at home. I would highly recommend.

Everything was amazing! The two brothers that run the place are extremely nice and accommodating. “Mi casa es tu casa” is their moto and they made us feel it. The food was also incredibly good and a highlight of our stay. Overnight they made us a fire in the pit and we watched the stars. Highly recommend and we hope to return.

Overall, a fantastic getaway stay in the Amazon rainforest. Not for the faint of heart when it comes to bugs or critters though, but that’s to be expected anywhere when you’re staying in the rainforest. Jaime and his family were so welcoming, greeting us every time and setting us up with tours that met right at the doc below our bungalow. We even got to go on our adventures with other guests as well as other tourists, which added to the fun!! Family meals each time with the other guests, which was a great way to feel right at home. We also adored Miluska, a family member of Jaime’s, who was so sweet, cooked all of our meals, and would sit and chat with us. Exactly the kind of stay we were looking for in Puerto Maldonado!!

Staying at Andrea’s was perfect for two days. The space itself is absolutely beautiful. The room is clean and comfortable. The property offers sauna, cold plunge, and plant baths. You can also order delicious food. There is wifi on the property and an outdoor shower with hot water!! Andrea was great with communication and helped out with anything I needed to make sure I was comfortable. If you find yourself in the valley & need some self-care time, this would be the place for you.

Thank you to the whole team who received us, he really offers all kinds of very interesting and enriching activities to discover the jungle , its fauna and flora... very relaxing too, and very friendly, nestor and his wife, Theo, and Augusto are very efficient and friendly to explain everything to you and have a pleasant time, we were with family with our 2 children and they really took the time for us, thank you to the team

Casa de Aida is a magical and unique place... with that magic of the Earth, where there are birds, butterflies, many beautiful flowers and leafy trees... where a beautiful bunny comes out to greet and a rooster appears to show off his beauty. The places are completed with the beings that inhabit it, and here we find sweetness, care and above all very good people. Ursula and Italo are wonderful people, who together with Pedro and Lola, their loving dogs, made us feel at home. The place is really beautiful!! Our room had dream architecture and it was the calm place that my mother and I needed. I would absolutely recommend it, Well, me too, I'll always come back!

Very nice lodge in the middle of the rainforest, the approach with accompaniment is a bit tedious as you have to go through the rainforest for 1.5 hours and this can only be done with a 4x4! Adventure feeling Guaranteed! The beautiful lodge with its location and tranquility as well as the always helpful staff compensates for this.

La Cachuela lodge is a very beautiful place in the middle of the forest. It sleeps lulled by the sound of birds and insects. Be careful, it's for adventurers : we are 11 km from the city, there is no electricity and the water is a precious product. Disconnection guaranteed !

Beautiful place full of nature, the mountains are beautiful, I went with my family and we loved it, the Dians and Chris are very kind, we hope to return soon!!

Lucho's place was an absolute dream! Set away from the town in the jungle it provided a place to escape and relax in nature. Lucho was a great host: he made every effort to make us comfortable and to show us the amazon. He is passionate about nature, conservation, and birding and he shares his enthusiasm with his guests on all of his tours. The food served at the lodge was excellent. Organic, fresh, and delicious. We would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone travelling to Puerto Maldonado.

A magical little place. I loved the atmosphere, the view of the mountains and how cozy everything is. You can tell it's made with love. Ideal to rest. I'd go back a thousand times!
