Almost Home

KristyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Those place was perfect for our family of 6. Everything was very clean and organized. The owner even had lots of little extras that were wonderful surprises, such as paper towels, coffee, soap for dishes and hands, dark wash rags for makeup removal, face wash, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, board games, many snuggle soft blankets and many other things. It is appropriately named because this place really feels like home. The view from the front porch overlooks a beautiful pasture and the rocking chairs are good for your morning cup of coffee. We would stay here again and recommend it highly to others.

Pop's Place

This was my second stay at Shane's cabin on the lake, and it has quickly become one of my favorite places to stay. While it’s off the beaten path, that’s part of the charm—it makes for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This was my first time visiting during this season, and there were quite a few mosquitoes, so if you plan to spend time outdoors, be sure to come prepared. Other than that, there’s very little to complain about. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook, just make sure to pick up groceries on your way in. The living area is cozy and comfortable, and considering how remote the location is, the WiFi connection is surprisingly strong. One last bonus is the washer and dryer in the cabin, which is great to have during longer stays. I’ll definitely be back again if it's available in the winter, and I truly can't recommend it enough.

On The Rocks@Starlight Retreats

AshleyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Oh my goodness this has to be the best Airbnb I have ever been to! Absolutely stunning and so peaceful! I took a trip down from Indiana by myself just to get away and relax and this was the perfect place for that. Huge bath tub, hot tub, private access to the lake, huge bed and windows, just endless amenities for anything you could need! I have already been asked dozens of times from friends where this place is and all the information and everyone is so interested and I just can't speak any more highly of it! Just book it now because you won't regret it. I hope to be back in the future! Thanks again for a great stay!

This place was so peaceful, relaxing and private. We had so much fun swimming and using the kayaks. We spent lots of time on the screened porch enjoying the lake view and wildlife. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Want to return for our son’s Army Turning Blue Graduation.

The Barn Loft

GreggRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A beautiful, well appointed loft with a great view from the deck and super quiet. The sky at night had a gazillion starts and the deck was perfect to have coffee and take it all in. The minute horse and donkey were adorable as well as the orange Tabby that greeted me upon arrival. LaDawn was quick to answer questions and very accommodating. If this place is available, book it!!

Historic Aderholdt Mill Residence

PeggyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was a lovely property! The location was close to town, but nestled back in a picturesque area with a creek, pond, and lots of beauty trees. The house itself was a wonder! It was interesting to see and learn about the history of the mill. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

Romantic Treehouse Retreat

YaskiraRating, 5 stars6 days ago
I celebrated my 40th birthday at Top-notch treehouse and it was great. A very peaceful and a nice getaway for my husband and myself. The cabin was very intimate and peaceful. It was close to many hike trails and waterfalls, restaurants and wineries. We tried Montaluce Winery & Restaurant and it was gorgeous. We had a great time, I highly recommend it. We also did Yonah Mountain, it was not easy but worth the view and drive. Amicalola Falls State Park was amazing too, get ready for the amount of steps but the view was amazing. There is an onsite restaurant, I highly recommend it and the view was breathtaking. We encountered a bad storm that blew up the power & we stayed without water or light for a couple of hrs, but Mrs. Sherrie was great and gave us galloons of spare water to bathe. She was very responsive and her communication was great. This was a very intimate treehouse/cabin for a couples getaway if you enjoy nature and some alone time with your spouse. We had a great time!
