Vacation rentals with breakfast in Talalla

We loved the stay! The place was very homely and close to almost every place we wanted to visit. Renuka was so sweet and helpful! She was so kind and friendly…we will definitely be back ❤️

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Tammy's property. The setting amidst the paddy fields was stunning, and we loved seeing the peacocks, monkeys, and diverse birdlife. Adding to the charm were the lovely dogs on the property, Unnabala and Suddhi. The property itself is amazing, but what truly elevated our stay was Charith, the caretaker. From the moment we arrived, his warm smile and positive attitude were so welcoming. His cooking was exceptional – every meal was delicious! Beyond that, his patience and willingness to help with anything we needed were truly remarkable. Charith's care and dedication made our trip so special. While the location is beautiful, it's Charith who would bring us back to this Airbnb without hesitation on our next visit to Sri Lanka. He is an invaluable asset to this property.

The best thing about August beach house is it's location..sits right on the beach with lots of nice bars, restaurants and surf schools nearby. The staff were very kind and courteous and they keet the place squeaky clean through out our stay.

Staying at the Yellow House was outstanding. It is located in a quiet side street in the middle of the countryside. And already 300m down is the beach and the main road from where you can reach all the tourist destinations. But there is also plenty to discover on site. For example, kayak tours or the fish market and the fishermen's dock. My personal favorite place was the terrace, where you can relax and enjoy the variety of exotic animals and plants in the garden. Tip: pick a fresh star fruit from the tree :) Speaking of food. You should definitely take this around the corner from your host and his family on the roof terrace. You can't get it better. Your wishes will be taken into account. And everything else is done to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Just ask. I was picked up from Colombo and shown a lot. I'd love to come back :)

Words cannot even describe how amazing our stay was. Dilan, his mom and his brother made us feel right at home and so friendly to be around. It was their personalities and their open hearts that made our stay extra special. One morning I asked Dilans brother to make us a dhal curry to go with our string hoppers and it was delicious. He was kind enough to make sure we were well taken care of, as if we were their own. The place itself was spacious, comfortable and just simply beautiful. Most of all, it was so peaceful and we loved their kitty cats and their dog Shane. You can see that the brothers put a lot of love and thought into the space that they build and it’s so beautiful to see their hard work put into it for us to stay, appreciate and enjoy. Overall, we loved our stay and will be back next year, while recommending them to everyone.

Our room at Chandi's was amazing. We loved our stay at her place. Chandi is so kind. You'll feel right at home thanks to its discreet presence but always available if needed. Chandi cooks delicious breakfasts that I warmly recommend. Plus, the home overlooks a beautiful garden. If we return to the area, we will return to Chandi's place.

Best place in Ahangama close enough to everything while still being in your little relaxing nook of heaven. The staff is super nice and attentive to our needs. Cook is amazing we were not planning on it but as our stayed continued we had more and more meals at the house. The pool area and garden are gorgeous and relaxing and is really the highlight!

We loved Cocomari. It was beautiful and relaxing. Nice accommodations. Would definitely return to stay again.

So, you’re obviously looking for accommodation in south-west Sri Lanka – well don’t look any further than Sailor’s Bay. From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

We had a great stay here. Every time we come to Galle this is where we will stay. We not only enjoy this host we have stayed with this host multiple times and we have only positive things to say. We look forward every time to checking in that we arrive and have a wonderful time. We cannot stress enough how beautiful the property is and how responsive the hosts are to provide anything for the guests.

Very friendly host and family! Check-in was flexible, the place was clean and the breakfast was delicious. You can walk to the beach in 5 to 10 minutes. By bus you can quickly get to town or other beaches.

I have enjoyed the stay. It would have been much better if rooms had AC

Ruwan is an extremely kind person who is very keen to ensure that you do not miss anything. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean. There was a fridge full of free water. Breakfast times were by arrangement, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast could have varied a bit more (it was the same every day). Ruwan organized transportation for us to the next accommodation at the Uber price. And the driver was very nice too. We took a trip to the turtles and to Galle together with Ruwan, which I had honestly imagined a little differently. I thought he was something like a tour guide who would also give us information, but he just drove us. I found the price to be a bit too high for that. But it was still very nice and a good idea. We do not regret spending 4 nights with Ruwan and can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to go there again.

We enjoyed our stay at nomads it’s a beautiful place away from the busy town

Great welcome from Amila and her family. The house is a little out of the way, but Alima transports us wherever we want. The price is reasonable and displayed in the room. Alima and his wife cooks very well. We would recommend it.

We had a lovely time at Lova’s place! The accommodation was beautiful and clean. Short reminder that there is no AC but with the open windows and fan the heat was manageable. The atmosphere was amazing, waking up to the sun and sounds of the forest was a dream. The location was a little remote, we rented a scooter to get to the beaches (takes ca 25 min to Hiriketiya, 15 min to Tangalle).

Amazing stay very close to main Mirissia beaches, beautiful surroundings but I would recommend renting a scooter/ tuktuk to make easier your displacement towards the area. Yummy breakfast and you can even practice Yoga on your terraza. Recommended!

We slept three nights in this wonderful house and it was amazing! The hosts are very nice and accommodating. They have the best breakfast in Sri Lanka and they will try to fulfill all your wishes. It was really great. We would always come back!

We stayed 4 nights, very nice accommodation, nice kitchen, everything is functional. Very good hosting by Nisha, always smiling and ready to help you. She even adapted the French breakfast which is hearty... she booked a scooter for us, bus, tuk tuk nearby, small convenience store, very good inexpensive restaurant 5 minutes away on the beach. We highly recommend it.

Donis place is one of our favourite places in Sri Lanka! We even came back a second time because we just love it here. The room is so clean and beautifully decorated, the bathroom as well and it smells so good:)) The best is doni herself. She made us an incredible breakfast every morning and let us use the washing machine for free! Also she is such a kind and caring person. She made us really feel at home! The area itself is really quiet and we could rent a scooter from doni to explore the beautiful beaches! I’m sure we will be back a third time if we can :))

We had a great stay. The location is an easy walk to the main beach and restaurant strip. The pool is a great addition and as it appears in the photos. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Swell was an amazing stay. We came during the offseason so some restaurants shops and options weren’t open as advertised not to the fault of swell, however, The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to keep us happy and satisfied. We loved our stay here. Highly recommended.

This was a great place in a great location. The staff were super helpful. Chef Indy is a great cook and we enjoyed both his breakfasts (French toast was great!) and dinners (excellent curries). Kelum helped us arrange surf lessons as well as providing other tips. We had a great stay. The only downside of the place is that it is between a busy street and the train tracks and the train can be a bit loud but it didn’t keep any of us from sleeping and the private yard area is very nice. The open kitchen/living/dining area has a beautiful view of the ocean and the AC in the bedrooms worked great.
