Vacation rentals with a patio in Takitumu District

What a briliant start to a long awaited Cook Island adventure (after a hectic departure - almost didnt make it thanks to airline mess up) Simon picked us up from the airport and then filled us in on the drive to the accommodation, stopping and pointing out places to eat, beach acccess points and heaps more. We d3cided to rent a car for one day as we were only on Raro for 3 and that was a great idea being able to take back roads, stop and start at whim and just feel we got a better sense of the place. We're off to Aitutaki now but will definitely be returning to Rarotonga in the future. Simon and Denise were great hosts...there if you needed with lots of help and hints but certainly left us alone if we were happy. Thanks for a brilliant first impression...they always stick. Definately recommend Maire's emaculately clean modern new spacious accommodation overlooking a massive paddock with with goats & roosters roaming. It was exactly as described even better. The whole experience was 5 star right from before check in to our stay. A welcoming book with accomodation & tourist info was provided. It had everything we needed to cook with, not just the basics, but even things like a blender, measuring cups & some leftover supplies from previous guest. The welcoming fruit was lovely. Bed was comfy, although pillows were a tad hard for me, but I'm used to taking my own memory foam one! Added toiletries was nice. The coffee pod machine & milk frother was a hit!

This accommodation is in a fantastic location in Muri, set against a lush green mountain backdrop with pigs, chickens, and a rooster adding to the charm. Outside my villa there were workers cutting down two coconut trees, one worker offered to cut open a coconut. What a great local experience. Muri Beach is just across the road, with free use of sun loungers. It’s also very close to the night market and local shops. The villa is brand new, well-equipped with kitchen supplies, offers free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The owners communicated promptly and were very helpful. A truly unforgettable moment happened at the airport—I met the owner, who is also a pilot, and he invited me to sit in the jump seat during the flight to Aitutaki. Watching the landing from the cockpit was a magical and memorable experience, and the highlight of my holiday in the Cook Islands. Thank you!

Lovely stay in penthouse. Beautiful views and short walk to peaceful beach with loungers. As mentioned in the description, there is a nightly ‘dog chorus’ but that’s not controllable as they seem to be scattered around the island. Overall I would definitely recommend this place- the grounds are well-cared for and the amenities, view and location are fabulous

The description and photos don’t do this listing justice. The view and convenience to Muri with still being private and quiet was unbeatable. Beautiful brand new unit. Huge bathroom, lovely pool, top notch host and experience.

Just came back from Raro with my husband and teen daughter. Tara's place was exactly as described, beautiful surroundings, a short walk from the beach, bars, convenience store and night market. The unit offered 2 ensuite bedrooms which was perfect for my daughter. The views are splendid. We used the pool a few times and it was a nice place to chill after coming from the beach or a day out. The place offered everything we needed and Tara was very generous allowing us to check in a bit earlier. Great communication, simple instructions, all you need when you go to a new place where you are not familiar with anything. She also organised our transfers to/fro airport and made our stay a breeze. The car was a great plus and allowed us to come and go freely. Communication with Joy was also amazing during our stay, checking in with us if we needed anything. Highly recommend Tara's place. It made our stay a breeze, like the overall vibe of Raro. Thanks Tara, we'll come back soon :)

The place honestly looks better than the photos! It’s so private and easy to get to, in a decently good location. not too far from the airport and not too far from Town! The house is clean with great airflow, the view from the lounge room and bedroom is absolutely stunning! this place makes you feel like you’re at home. I loved staying here and i’m so excited to stay again!!

We had the most amazing time at Starboard which was pure paradise. From the moment we arrived, the stunning ocean views took our breath away, and the villa itself was better than the photos. The infinity pool was our daily retreat, we couldn't get enough of it. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to cook meals, and the complimentary coffee, fruit, and fresh bread were great touches. Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean each morning was a highlight. While the beach in front of the villa is more for sunbaking than swimming, the pool more than made up for it. Muri Beach is also just a short drive away and perfect for swimming. Having the car included was amazing. It made exploring the island, going to dinners, and doing day tours really easy. Our host Anita went above and beyond to assist us during our stay (including meeting us at the airport on the final day to collect the car) - the epitome of a super host. Don’t hesitate - book now!

The most magical place for the whole family looking some quality time together. The location is great but would recommend to hire a car even if for a couple of days so you can explore the island. Lots of chickens, dogs, goats, pigs but you will protected inside. Paeru is super quick at communication always there to answer any questions or requests. Mai’telaki

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The deck looking straight out to the lagoon was a huge treat. You couldn’t get closer to great snorkelling. The location is just off the main road, close to great coffee and food choices. The interior was spotless and had everything you would need. We would highly recommend this as a base in Rarotonga.

We had a wonderful stay at Amori Villa. The house is spacious, wonderfully decorated and well situated, with a short drive to a number of wonderful snorkelling beaches, town for groceries and anything else you could want. Our family absolutely loved our time here. Communication from the hosts was excellent and they were always eager to help and point us in the right direction. Thank you for an amazing stay! We hope to be back one day and would love to stay here again!

Joseph and Odette were warm and hospitable. Their place was clean and they were reachable at any point if we needed anything. Gracious hosts, highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in Rarotonga at Addrienne's Air bnb. Firstly was greeted by Tama at the airport and we followed him back to the house. So was a smooth checkin. It was very peaceful, beautiful scenery over looking the airport and ocean. Rooms were very spacious, big kitchen, out door area was great and the pool.was a bonus with the hot and humid weather. Bambam and Evie were such beautiful dogs and were very placid and enjoyed the company. They would always greet you in the morning or when you return home. Overall we all had a fantastic stay and definetly would recommend it.

Great house, awesome sunsets and everything as we thought! Diane was a fabulous host, always quick to respond to questions and gave information freely 😃 the beach directly in front of the house was quite rocky but we managed to get a snorkel in! Very comfortable stay and would recommend. Thanks Diane for a great holiday 😁

10/10 loved our stay here. Perfect for our large family. Very spacious, peaceful and fun! Fenced pool for peace of mind with little ones. Fiona and her husband were super responsive when we needed some help. Lovely, kind people. Would stay here again. Highly recommend. Perfect spot for snorkelling 5 mins up the road. Indoor/ outdoor flow, just surperb!
