We were very warmly welcomed. The stay was good and three beaches within walking distance, the way back a bit exhausting. If you have any questions, you will always be helped very courteously and we enjoyed our privacy there very much and would come back at any time

The place was exceptionally clean, surrounded by beautiful greenery, and had a warm, friendly atmosphere. My fiancé and I were truly delighted with our stay.🥳😍🥰🥰🥰

Michel's guest home exceeded our honeymoon expectations. This beautiful home, up on the hills overlooking the beaches of central/southern Mahe is walking distance (or a short drive if you choose to rent a car) from a calm and peaceful beach as well as a local restaurant which Michel recommended to us...it did not disappoint! My wife and I went there twice and the catch of the day was our favorite. This was one of many recommendations Michel gave to us during out stay. We even got fresh papaya from Michel local tree as a treat. If you decide you want to save some money and eat in, there is a grocery store just down the hill from the house. This air b&b is equip with all the basic cooking supplies you should need. It may be difficult to find the house off the main road, even if using navigation. There is a small sign tacked up to the electric post right as you are supposed to turn off the main road, however we still did not see it easily. We told Michel our expected arrival time and he and his family were keeping an eye for us to help once we were off the main road. We found it easier to located the house off the main road while it was still light out. We would stay here for weeks if we could. Everything is so lush and beautiful and if you look out on the balcony you can see bats flying around in the sky.

Safira was a wonderful host! She was gracious enough to let us check in early. The apartment is a nice size and had an amazing view facing west- the sunsets were lovely! I appreciated the daily cleaning, local recommendations, help making any excursion reservations, and attentiveness to get the hair dryer fixed during our stay. I suggest renting a car because it is a steep climb to the apartment but would highly recommend this place.

Magical getaway in paradise! Our stay at this cozy Seychelles chalet exceeded all expectations! From the first minutes, we were surrounded by care and attention. Marvin the host and his assistant Adam are true hospitality professionals! They were always in touch, helped with the organization of excursions, shared tips on the best beaches. They made us feel at home — safe, comfortable, and family-friendly. And what an incredible surprise awaited us in the evening! Dinner from local products has become a real gastronomic masterpiece. Fresh fish, tropical fruits, fragrant spices — every piece told the story of Seychelles. The dishes were cooked with love and attention to details, and the serving added romance to the sound of the ocean. It was not just dinner, but a real trip to the tastes of the island! The chalet itself is a corner of harmony: a cozy interior, impeccable cleanliness, and the window overlooks a beautiful forest.

An absolutely magical place, like being in the middle of the jungle, a little higher up. Absolute peace and quiet, just trees, coconut palms, and birds; you sleep so well there. Lindy is a very friendly and attentive host. The welcome juice, squeezed from their own oranges, is delicious; the fridge has water, eggs (yes, they have chickens), butter, juices, and Lindy brought me fresh bananas. The apartment is very modern and fully equipped, spotlessly clean, and they come by every day to check that everything is in order. There's a huge bathroom, and there's even a washing machine, very practical for getting your suitcase ready again. Anse Marie Louise is lower down and is always deserted, with only a few locals. The start of the Anse Capucine trail is right down the road. A few minutes away are small shops, including a very good snack/bar/take away, Koko Zerm, best samousas in town. The place is just perfect; I would love to return another time.

We had a lovely stay here with Lucy being such a lovely host making us feel at home at the get go. The rooms were clean and spacious to make a family feel comfortable and at ease. Thanks Maricel! The host Lucy was kind enough to recommend a car with a tour guide who was fantastic for his know-how, friendliness and care. Charges reasonably and ensured to take us at scenic views a few off the beaten path. He also has handy arrangements like ice box, umbrella, cushions etc for a rainy day. We would highly recommend Clinton if you want to explore Seychelles through the eyes of a local. We will definitely be staying at Lucy's for a longer stay the next time around for the warmth and love she has left behind with us.

Had a lovely 2 weeks in Christopher's property at Anse Royale. Love the location - as a first-timer in Seychelles, I noticed the north side of Mahe, opposite where I stayed, is dubbed as the "fun" part. But I did love the easy-going vibe of the south side, and would probably choose to stay in the same area again. I would suggest you either hire a transfer service or rent a car, and I would recommend Perry's Grill as a restaurant close by to get some good food. The place was simple but very clean - Ms. Jane would come in whenever she could while I was away to clean up; I generally try not to be messy in any place I stay at, but I appreciate how the place always ended up smelling nice after coming back from long days. It was also lovely chatting with her. Christopher was exceptional in his reponsiveness and attentiveness. He was very understanding as I arrived so much later than expected, and was kind enough to give me momentary wifi access during an emergency. Recommended!

When we arrived at Airbnb, we were down from a bad experience with another host. Well, Agnelle and Francis were the exact opposite and proof of the real Creole welcome! Very kind, helpful, they met us in every way with flexible check-in, also welcoming us with treats and preparing us a dinner (fantastic!), despite only staying one night. The house is perfectly maintained and the neighborhood is very quiet, immersed in greenery and close to the beaches. Although we couldn't see much of Mahe due to the weather we will bring a nice memory of the city thanks to Agnelle and Francis. We will recommend this airbnb to all our friends coming to Seychelles

My husband stayed for 5 nights here. It was a working trip which requires him to be at Taylor Smith Dockyard, Providence daily so Jeannine’s cottage was the nearest to it, way up on a little hill & very quiet yet reachable in a few minutes. Public transportation is hard to find as inform earlier by the host so lucky to have a car. Would definitely recommend this place if looking for some private away from Thé crowds & sounds. Host is very accommodating in her small gestures of leaving garden fruits in the fridge upon check in! Tells a lot about a person 👍.

If you are looking for a very, very well cleaned house, in a quiet strategic place to reach both northern and southern beaches ( by car would be much better than by bus), you are in the right place! Everything is new and clean and Rita is the perfect host. She prepared a fresh lemonade at our arrival, and since my girls liked it a lot, she kindly refill several times. Other valuable plus: dinner and transfer at very reasonable price. Rita was leaving next to us, always ready to satisfy our requests, but leaving us all the privacy we needed.

We had a family retreat in beautiful seychelles and our stay here added to our pleasant experience. The villa met all my expectations and would recommend it for a quiet retreat.

I spend a few nights at Sarah’s place with a group of friends. We had a fantastic stay at Sarah’s s place. Communication was smooth and prompt. The location was ideal, and I felt right at home throughout my stay.

superb host, very polite and nice. she also made us delicious local fish even for our little daughter. pampered us a lot. we would high recommend her place... its beautiful and cozy. nice flower bed around... and the bedt part is the weather is cooler as its mountain top and one can enjoy rains too.

After stays in 2017 and 2018, we were now guests again with Roy and his family. We have already stayed in all 3 apartments and can especially recommend the middle one (= largest with second bedroom, if there should be several people or parents with children) and the top apartment (here we also stayed this year) with great views of the sea. The apartment was super clean and comfortably furnished. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom. The location is central on Mahe, a good starting point in all directions. Rental car is necessary. The driveway is very steep but doable (turning off air conditioning helps uphill). The Google Maps directions are incorrect. When you pass the bus depot, you have to keep straight ahead and do not turn right. Many thanks to Roy and his adorable family for the great time! Absolutely recommended!

Thank you so much 🩵! Marcella is a wonderful host and inspiring person working a lot for church. The Seychelles has been our best vacay with sunbathing, hiking, snorkeling, diving, Easter church services, surrounded by the most beautiful nature! We loved the Seychelles as well as Marcella's place! It is clean, spacious, well-furnished, and the view is absolutely amazing! Marcella was very responsive, and helped us kindly incl. late check-out. We would not recommend coming without a car but also enjoyed walking to the beach and restaurants sometimes. The location is great for a start, maybe staying in the south or one of the other islands is worth a consideration next time. One downside may be the price. Others are temporary construction noise around, missing refills (e.g. toilet paper) or on request (e.g. salt, trash bags), no AC in the living room, in the bedrooms it didn't always cool down, and parking can be tricky. I Highly recommend Maryse’s place. She and Chris have been amazing host to us. The olive tree residence is 8-10 mins from the city, uphill amidst nature where you can hear the sound of breeze blowing , birds chirping, an amazing view of the ocean and fog at times. It’s overall an amazing place to get a detox from the hustle and bustle of city life. For those who prefer using public transportation, the bus stop is just a minute walk. Airport is approx 15 mins drive by car from the location. There are amazing restaurants at Eden island which is a 10 min drive from the residence. Maryse and Chris are warm and welcoming and have been always responsive to our questions and also guided us with local recommendations. The house was well equipped, spacious and spotless. The garden area is full of flower and fruit plantations. We wish we stayed there longer. Without a second thought, we would book this place when we visit Seychelles again.

A real gem. We had peace and relaxation and everything you need for the time there. Benjamin was on site and gave us good tips and always asked if everything was okay. The location was great for us because we had a rental car for the time and wanted to explore the south and west of the island. Everything is easily accessible from there. Here and in Anse Royale, you can still get a taste of "real life," which we liked, especially compared to Beau Vallon. You can walk to the bus in a few minutes (through the heat), and it takes you everywhere. Since the house is located on a small mountain, it is a bit more difficult without a car. We would definitely visit again!!

Beau Bassin was a very neat and clean space. We appreciated the quiet surroundings and kind helpful neighbors. It was a very good place to stay with a kind and flexible host.

Good accommodation, very clean and spacious apartment. Everything worked well and Roy was a very responsive and helpful host. His wife surprised us with a plate of fresh fruit and some birthday cake which was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this Airbnb.

Shirley and Gilbert were incredibly welcoming, kind, and always quick to respond to any questions I had before and during my stay. Gilbert even kindly offered me a ride on my last day, as I didn’t have my own transport. The accommodation is spacious, well-equipped, and the WiFi worked perfectly throughout my stay. There’s air conditioning in the bedroom, and a fan in the living room—which makes the living area a bit warmer than the rest of the house. I also appreciated the convenient drinking water dispenser. The location is great, especially for travelers without a car. Baie Lazare is just a 21-minute walk, Petit Anse about 40 minutes, and there are mini markets, a pharmacy, takeaways, and a small fruit market all within a 10-minute walk. Plus, there’s a bus stop right in front of the property. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe both at the accommodation and in the surrounding area. Thank you so much for everything!
